Ralph Curtis Fey, A.I.A.Ralph Fey brings to architecture the hand of an artist and visionary, understanding and working with the whole, while attending to the most particular detail. His practice focuses on design excellence that incorporates the traditional and artistic heritage of the region with the best aspects of contemporary architectural practice and technologies. Ralph's work embraces the nature of place, emphasizing the importance of context. Each project is site-specific reflecting the unique elements of nature and terrain; and relating the project to the landscape with a range of stylistic vocabularies. Ralph is dedicated to a "hands-on" approach that ensures a quality design for each project. Educated in London & Vienna, Ralph went on to receive a degree from Syracuse University School of Architecture. Ralph was recruited by the Hillier Group of Princeton, N.J. to bridge the disciplines of architecture and interior design. He rose to Director of Design for the 35 person interior design studio and was personally responsible for a wide range of design challenges, including corporate, hospitality, residential, renovation and adaptive reuse projects. In 1994 Ralph was appointed Director of Design and Facility Planning for QVC, West Chester, PA. Ralph spearheaded the development of a new corporate headquarters and television studio for the cutting edge electronic retailer. This 60 million dollar project brought under one roof all aspects of the process including studio, offices, design and distribution. In 1996, Ralph founded Ralph Curtis Fey, Architects based in historical Bucks County, Pennsylvania.
